Exhibition Review

For AP Photo this year, we are required to visit an exhibition anywhere in the country, and write a comprehensive review and critique of said exhibition. For my exhibition, I chose to do a review of "Time of Monsters" by Dan Perjovschi in the Jane Lombard Gallery in Chelsea, New York. Perjovschi uses word-play, caricatures, and site specific installations to provide commentary not only on current political leaders and events, but also on the manner in which social and international media conveys information to us. Presenting his work in a satirical manner, Perjovschi uses news clippings as the basis of all of his works.
