Change in Idea

I decided to keep my central idea of highlighting the beauty and culture of something I identify closely with, but I have not decided if I only want to shoot women, black people, or black women. These are also subculture groups I identify and have a connection with, so the next step in my project will be deciding which path I want to take. I also tweaked my project in the sense that I am shooting all of my portraits through reflections in broken glass, which is symbolic of society's fragmented view of this particular group.
